The community and staff of Molong Central School are committed to 'providing opportunities for personal achievement' for all students from Kindergarten to Year 12. We achieve this through: provision of effective teaching and assessment practices; delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum and co-curricular program which caters for the needs of individual students; nurturing and motivating the 'whole child' through extensive student welfare structures, educational programs and networks; emphasis on literacy, numeracy and technological skills; fostering of partnerships between the school and its community; provision of a caring environment which is conducive to learning; and effective communication linking all sections of the school community. The school draws its primary students, for the most part, from the immediate township. In addition secondary students travel a significant distance to school by bus. Manildra, Cumnock, Cudal and Euchareena are feeder schools for the secondary department. Students also join us from Molong and Manildra St. Joseph's schools.

Molong Central School is proud to acknowledge the Wiradjuri people as the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we meet, work and live. We pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
