At Molong Central School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Garru Dance Group
Students explore the rich history of Aboriginal dance in Australia, journeying from traditional styles to contemporary forms that emphasise storytelling.
Drawing on the elements of Country, the students engage in practices that cleanse negative energy, honour the wisdom of our Elders, and promote healing of the spirit.
The dance group performs at community events during significant cultural celebrations and offers dance workshops to community schools.
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Wula Gurray Choir
The Wula Gurray Choir provides students with an opportunity to build connections and friendships with peers from other schools. They come together once a week at the Orange Conservatorium under the leadership of Sam Bartholomeusz. Tammy Wilson shares Wiradjuri language knowledge, which is beautifully incorporated into the choir’s songs.
Trips and excursions
