Wellbeing

At Molong Central School, we believe that student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. Our goal is to ensure every student feels safe, included, and supported to succeed. Whether your child needs assistance with their mental, emotional, social, or physical wellbeing, our school community is here to help them thrive both at school and in everyday life.

The Wellbeing Hub at Molong Central School is a dedicated initiative designed to provide comprehensive support throughout each student’s educational journey. This program aligns with the NSW Department of Education’s Wellbeing Framework, which promotes connection, success, and wellbeing for all students at every stage of their development.

The Wellbeing Hub brings together our School Counsellors, Student Support Officer (SSO), Cultural Coordinator, and the wider MCS Wellbeing team. We offer free and confidential support services to students and their parents or carers. Our staff are available to assist with a wide range of matters—from everyday concerns like family, friendships, and school challenges to more serious issues including mental health, bullying, nutrition, substance use, homelessness, child protection, and suicide prevention.

Additionally, the Wellbeing Hub provides a space for visiting professionals and community agencies to offer specialised support to our students and families.
